Movie stream an american in paris texas. Wow! I love this music. my senior year I'm high school we did an American in Paris as our field show in marching band. Gershwin is always a win. Movie Stream An American in paris. Movie stream an american in paris movie. Mis respetos. Excelente concierto. One of the best masterpiece created by human being. Bravo. The music is absolutely a gift from Heaven, as Beethoven himself asserts. Thank you to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for graciously sharing such a performance, one of the best I've enjoyed lately, and a visual treat as well! Bravissimi! However, I don't know who or what translated from German. I hope it was a robot. Aside from the huge gaps in the translation flow, probably due to repetition of words? Well. that's unusual. But then The Creator, to Whom Beethoven dedicates this music in gratitude for the beauty of Creation, is repeatedly referred to using the pronouns he and him without capitalizing the H. Now, I'm not even religious and find that so. well, such a faux-pas, for anyone involved with Arts and Culture. Regardless of one's beliefs, it is very disrespectful towards about half the people in the World, or more. And disrespectful towards Beethoven, his work and his music. Most shockingly it went unnoticed! I suggest someone ought to fix it. Thanks again though. I really enjoyed it.

The violin 🎻 soloist is amazeballs! Overall, the best version of my favorite classical piece. Pachelbel's canon Tchaikovsky's cannons. BAM! Beautifully done ending. Movie stream an american in paris 2017.

Movie stream an american in paris trailer. Ivan: I play music John: Oh yeah what music? Ivan: Cannon. John: What type of Canon? La harpe de melodie? Ivan: 105mm Howitzer John: oh. Movie stream an american in paris streaming. I had very high expectations on this movie. Not only was it one of Gene Kelly's best I also loved SINGIN' IN THE RAIN. It is a very good musical.
But AN AMERICAN IN PARIS is not really cutting the standards. Sure it is a funny movie, Gene Kelly is amazing and some of the sing & dance-numbers are great, but the love-story is, well, not flat, but un-interesting and I simply didn't belive it.
And compared to SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, this movie had no passion and joy. Well, it had passion and joy but not in a 1000 miles close to the love-to-life SINGIN' IN THE RAIN seemed to have.
So: I'm a bit dissapointed at this movie, but it still was good.

7/10.

Given some releases of the Lion King stream/edit, there's still a couple of misconceptions about the Simba/Kimba controversy, so here's a guide for anyone interested. I take the side that the Lion King die take inspiration from Kima, but hopefully there's enough primary source evidence to support this, and dispute it. If I've got anything wrong, or have any misinformation, let me know. THIS POST IS NOT ABOUT QUALITY OR WHICH IS BETTER, JUST THE FACTS OF THE CASE. I don't think the claims deserve to be dismissed as "completely bonkers", however overenthusiastic some Kimba fans might be (and they have exaggerated a bit). More importantly, this deals with company ethics and a wider view of the truth - if you want to have an opinion on this, here's the info you need. What is the allegation about? The allegation is that specific character design, and relationship and certain plot points from Kimba the White Lion / Jungle Emperor Leo were lifted for use without acknowledgment in Disney's The Lion King. The allegation has NEVER been that the entire plot was lifted (the Tezuka estate themselves said that they considered The Lion King a different story entirely, and would have been flattered by Disney's imitation - Tezuka was a Disney fan - if they had acknowledged it), and it has NOTHING to do with the name similarity (he was named Leo in the manga, while the name Kimba was a neologism of the Swahili word for Lion, "simba" and either KNBC who licensed the show, or the daughter of a producer named Kim. The fact that Kimba has wildly divergent plot elements not included in The Lion King - the dead dad's skin, the interaction with humans, delightful trips to Paris - are chalked down to the fact that Kimba is a series, TLK an 84 minute movie. As per Machiko Sakanata, who headed up a petition among Japanese ARTISTS for Disney to acknowledge similarities: "Nobody is claiming the stories are identical. However, when my observations first reached Disney, I was told abruptly that Disney had never heard of Kimba the White Lion. At least a subtitle paying homage to Tezuka, or a few lines paying respect to the origin of the story should be included" The Tezuka estate acknowledged the similarities, but refused to litigate due to the power of Disney's attorneys, as well as that Tezuka would have been honoured by inspiration (sure). The key similarities disputed are: The plot point of an exiled lion, with a dead father, must come of age to reclaim the throne from a usurper. During the childhood, he has a close relationship with a lioness cub. Said usurper being a dark furred, black maned lion with a scar over his left eye, and his control over the females of the tribe (named Claw in Kimba) The usurper's henchmen being comedy relief hyenas (two in Kimba, three in The Lion King) The young lion's advisers including a bird (a parrot in Kimba, a hornbill in TLK) a mandrill who performs sacerdotal duties, and a comedic warthog. A confrontation between Kimba and the usurper which leads to the hero dangling off a clip The hero's departed father's form appearing in a cloud to give advice. The design of pride rock and the elephant's graveyard, as well as the gathering of animals towards a rock and a benevolent king. What the hell even is Kimba? Kimba the White Lion begun as a manga by the undisputed father of Japanese animation, Osamu Tezuka, whose pioneering Astro Boy was the first anime broadcast in the USA. Kimba was the first colour anime ever broadcast, and was imported to the US to solid ratings success by KNBC in 1964-65. Portions of the show were cut to make a movie that premiered in Japan in 1966 and showed at the 1967 Venice film festival. The show was remade for Japanese in 1989, the same year a Jungle Emperor Leo film began production. In the interrim, a 50 minute OVA film came out in 1991. The dispute is generally over the inspiration of the TV show and the OVA. What is the evidence for inspiration? Various visual similarities between the two, going as far as shot choices, and as early as the development stage (notice in particular how Scar originally looked. (shows similar poses and shots, though annoyingly it doesn't date it or indicate which works its derived from) The fact that Simba was originally WHITE in conception Roger Allers year in Tokyo during a time where Kimba's father was a mascot for a prominent Tokyo baseball team, and Kimba himself appeared in various televised advertisements. He was NOT in Tokyo by the time the remake series aired, however) Roy Disney accidentally referring to Simba as Kimba in a memo Two of the lead animators on the film admitted to familiarity with Kimba, and Fred Ladd (who imported Kimba to the US) alleged at least one other animator was a known Kimba superfan, and there were Kimba masks in the Disney studio. Matthew Broderick's statement that he always thought he was signed on to do a Kimba remake of the show he knew as a kid (this point and the previous point catch Disney in a lie - they officially claimed nobody in production Disney sent a cease and desist letter for a showing of the 1997 film Jungle Emperor Leo at the 1997 Fantasia film festival - not only a disgusting move on their part, but it incriminates - IF THEY CLAIMED NO SIMILARITIES, WHY SEND A CEASE AND DESIST LETTER? That's basically an admission of guilt, in addition to sheer rotten will. But wait, would Disney ever do anything like this? Yes, they did it before and after - and either Katzenberg or Eisner was involved every single time. Aladdin took visual and character inspiration from a key character in The Thief and the Cobbler (Richard Williams and shown them footage as an audition reel for Who Framed Roger Rabbit), and later with the Nadia/Atlantis controversy. And when Katzenberg and Eisner split in one of the most acrimonious battles in Hollywood, Katzenberg made Antz, a move John Lasseter has always claimed was based on a meeting he had about A bug's life, which Katzenberg denies. A pattern, eh? Is there a similarity between Kimba and Disney's works? Yes, for several reasons - Osamu Tezuka was a massive Disney fan who watched Bambi over 50 times and wrote officially sanctioned manga versions of Bambi and Pinocchio. He partially wrote Kimba as a philosophical argument against elements of Bambi that he disagreed with. Osamu Tezuka in fact personally met his idol in the 50's. Hence the elements mentioned in the video relating it to Dumbo, The Jungle Book et al. What is Disney's defense? Disney has consistently maintained that it had no knowledge of Kimba the White Lion in any of its iterations, and that it formed no inspiration for The Lion King. They have also been open about its roots in Bambi, Hamlet and the book of Exodus (how this squares with Eisner's public announcement that it was a completely original work is up to you). Rob Minkoff has made the reasonable claim that if you're making an animal movie set in Africa, of course your character's will include baboons and hyenas - they're the inhabitants of the Savannah. The biggest piece of legal action Disney took was the cease and desist letter. To this day, Jungle Emperor Leo has not had a North American release. Sources NOTE: If you're gonna claim the videos are manipulative, you have to state your case, otherwise I have to take it on faith alone. It's okay to love The Lion King (I do! ), but it's not fair to laugh off these claims when one company is essentially bullying another, and I think in the interests of intellectual honesty, all the evidence has to be taken into consideration. I hope this is a fair enough overview to consult (a very fair video which take Disney's defense into serious account and talks about Kimba's unique qualities) (goes into fascinating detail about the behind the scenes process) (very crucially, it DATES the images) (details the story similaties) (shows similar poses and shots, though annoyingly it doesn't date it or indicate which works its derived from) I take the Kimba side of this debate, but u/PepiHopi has kindly linked to a series of videos arguing that it's much greyer or less overt than that.

Love this back for my sixth you for this amazing Symphony. Gustavo is a great conductor, I love how he uses his body and emotions while conducting. Movie stream an american in paris crossword.

What makes for Best Picture material? The Oscars have come in for a lot of stick for rewarding overblown spectacles that have aged poorly, and ignoring the "auteurs" who would be deified in decades to come. It wasn't because Hollywood was against art or creativity. The Academy Awards are the selections made by the industry itself, and that is why, at least in the classic era, they tended to reward the greatest collaborations, the most sensational meetings of creative minds.
The Arthur Freed unit at MGM had been bound for Oscar-winning glory for several years by this point; it was only a matter of time before Freed, aided by his strongest director Vincente Minnelli and some the finest musical stars in the business, would land a Best Picture. Freed had arguably done more to raise the status of the musical than anyone else, crafting pictures which wove story and song together without losing the dynamic spectacle of the 30s musicals. The point about Freed musicals, is that the lyrics of the songs, unlike those of Hammerstein or Lerner, don't have to tell or even relate to the stories. What's important is that the tone of the song and the way it is presented fit into the structure of the film.
An American in Paris was the first of three Freed musicals (the other two being Singin' in the Rain and The Band Wagon) which took existing classic numbers out of their original context and made them work in a completely unrelated story. The words don't fit the plot, but the routines fit the show. So, when Gene Kelly sings I Got Rhythm, he hasn't even got a girl yet, but the way it's done with the French kids joining in is a great bit of characterisation, and the upbeat tune and dance gives the movie the little lift it needs at this point. An American in Paris also uses the rule-breaking allowed in the genre to add little unconventional flights of fancy to tell the story, such as the series of dances which accompany the description of Leslie Caron's character.
And what better director for this project than Minnelli, himself a painter and a pianist? At this time there wasn't really anyone who had a better feel for Technicolor. While some directors would saturate each scene in one colour or fill the screen with clashing shades, Minnelli's colour schemes are tightly controlled but never look forced. In the opening scenes the tones are fairly muted, but not drab, and in particular there is an absence of red. During Oscar Levant and Georges Guetary's meeting in the café, a few more vibrant shades are introduced. Then, during the first musical number, By Strauss" Minnelli gradually brings in splashes of red – a table cloth, a bunch of roses – until it eventually dominates, as if the song has awoken the picture's colour scheme. For most of the songs, the colours are choreographed as intricately as the people. However, in some numbers, such as "Tra-la-la" he keeps the shades the same and instead opens out the space as the song swells up and the characters become more animated.
The Achilles' heel of An American in Paris is its story. I personally find the romantic angle particularly unpalatable, playing as it does like a last hurrah for the misogynistic love stories that reigned supreme in the 30s; the headstrong, independent woman gets rejected while the meek, delicate girl is harassed into loving the hero. Even if you don't mind that, it is difficult to connect emotionally with the story because it is constantly overshadowed by the songs and dances. Compare this to Singin' in the Rain, which doesn't really have as many great routines or memorable set-pieces as An American in Paris, but it has a winning storyline. Singin' in the Rain was overlooked at the 1952 Oscars, yet it is regarded as a classic of the genre today. But I think people sometimes forget that cinema is an all-encompassing form of visual entertainment, not just a means of telling a story. An American in Paris is not deep or engaging or tear-jerking but, like a certain DeMille picture that won the top award the following year, it certainly is a great show.

This makes me so happy. I love this music. Today is: Atheist Pride Day Today is a day for atheists to take pride in their beliefs, and to let others know of those beliefs if they have not yet done so. Atheists believe there are no deities, while those who are theistic believe some sort of deity exists. The word "a" in their name means "without". There is no set ideology in atheism—atheists may be humanists, rationalists, unitarian universalists, postmodernists, secularists, among other things. Greek and Roman philosophers and writers such as Epicurus, Democritus, and Lucretius had an influence on what would become atheism. The term didn't appear until the sixteenth century, a time when freethought and skepticism began to take root. Some that lived during the Age of Enlightenment were the first to identify themselves as atheists. The supremacy of human reason was an aspect of the French Revolution, and it was at this time that atheism first became used politically. Science also began to undermine religion during the second half of the nineteenth century. Atheists have a large number of reasons as to why they see religion as being bad. They may think people who believe in a higher power do not think rationally and are not self-reliant. Many believe religion divides people and causes things like war. They see the anti-democratic structure of most religions as being incongruent with human rights, and are opposed to how women and gay people are treated differently by many religious groups. They also may believe that religion hampers scientific research. There are multiple reasons and explanations why people are atheists: - They may believe they can live by moral codes without the aid of a god. They often live by the same moral code as those who are religious, but get to them without god, believing him to be unnecessary. - They may believe science can better explain existence than god can. This belief did not come about until just a few centuries ago, when scientific discoveries began being made. In particular, atheists see evolution as giving explanations about lifeforms and the earth, making god unnecessary. - They may believe religion is based on emotions, and that it makes people able to cope with fears that they may have, such as that life has no meaning and purpose, or that existence ends after death. - They see a lack of empirical evidence to support any religion or that god exists. They see the arguments for god as being unconvincing. - They follow "the problem of evil, " which questions how evil can exist when an all loving, knowing, and powerful god exists. - They follow the "argument for inconsistent revelations, " which says that with the existence of so many conflicting belief systems it is unlikely that god exists. - They see an inconsistency between the existence of god and a world where so many do not believe in his existence. This is called the "argument from nonbelief. " - They follow the "law of parsimony. " This law says that when problem-solving, one should choose the thing that makes the fewest assumptions. In the case at hand, atheism makes fewer assumptions than the belief in religion does. This means the burden of proof should be on the believer, not the nonbeliever. The one that thinks god exists should do the proving. - They are born into or live in a non-religious society. Communist China is one example of such a place. Others may be born into a religion but lose their faith over time. It is hard to estimate how many atheists are in the world. A 2015 poll claimed about 11% of the world's population are atheists, and a 2012 poll claimed the number to be 13%. These were both WIN/Gallup International polls. A BBC poll from 2004 put the number at 8%. Europe and Asia have the largest number of atheists. In 2015, 61% of Chinese citizens identified as atheists. National Applesauce Cake Day D-Day Beginning in the spring of 1940, in the midst of World War II, Nazi Germany started occupying the northern part of France. They gained complete control of the area in May, when the British evacuated Dunkirk, a coastal city, during the Battle of France. But the Allies always hoped to return. In 1942, the United States and Britain began thinking about an invasion across the English Channel. Hitler, anticipating an invasion somewhere—although he did not know exactly where—put Erwin Rommel in charge of defense of a large swath of coastal areas and in charge of the creation of an Atlantic Wall, which consisted of fortifications of bunkers, landmines, and other beach and water obstacles. The Allies codenamed their amphibious invasion of Normandy "Operation Overlord, " and placed Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower in charge of it in January 1944. The invasion became known as D-Day, and its implementation would prove to be the start of the end of the war. The more obvious choice for the invasion was Pas de Calais, the spot with the shortest distance between Britain and Continental Europe. In fact, a deception campaign prior to D-Day made the Germans think that Pas de Calais—as well as Norway and some other locations—would be areas of invasion. Deception tactics included the use of fake equipment, George S. Patton's phantom army—which was supposedly stationed across from Pas de Calais, fraudulent radio transmissions, and double agents. The beaches of Normandy were chosen instead because they were less heavily defended than Pas de Calais, but were still within air cover. D-Day was originally scheduled for June 5, but it was pushed back a day due to bad weather. Eisenhower told his troops, "You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. " Five thousand ships, 13, 000 aircraft, and over 160, 000 American, British, and Canadian troops readied for invasion. Airborne operations started in the early morning hours of June 6, preceding the amphibious landing by about 5 hours. Over 13, 000 paratroopers from the U. S. 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, the British 6th Airborne Division, and the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion were dropped behind enemy lines and worked to secure bridges and exit roads. An additional 4, 000 men of the glider infantry landed using 500 gliders. The amphibious landing took place over a 50 mile stretch of beachfront in Normandy, on the French coastline. There were five beaches where the landing took place. From west to east they were Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword. The Allies faced rather light resistance at all the beaches except Omaha. That beach was the most heavily defended of the five, and also had a difficult terrain consisting of bluffs and cliffs. Although the Allies achieved their objective of gaining a foothold on the continent, it was not without heavy losses. By some estimates, over 4, 000 Allied troops were killed, and another 5, 000 or so troops were wounded. The beaches were secured by June 11, and over 326, 000 troops had landed, as well as 50, 000 vehicles and 100, 000 tons of equipment. By the end of June, 850, 000 Allied troops and 150, 000 vehicles were on the continent. The Battle of Normandy lasted until late August when Paris was liberated and northern France was taken back from the Nazis. Preparations were then made to head towards Germany. The Germans were defeated in the Spring of 1945, and surrendered on May 8. All of this became possible because of the valiant efforts of those on D-Day! We remember them and their service and sacrifice today! Drive-in Movie Day Drive-in Movie Day is celebrated on the anniversary of the opening of the first patented drive-in movie theater. On June 6, 1933, Richard Hollingshead opened this drive-in theater, Park-in Theaters, in Pennsauken Township, close to Camden, New Jersey. The year before he had experimented in his driveway by putting a 1928 Kodak projector on his car hood, pinning a sheet to trees, and placing a radio behind the screen. He thought about ways to combat rain and how to space cars so everyone had a view. When his theater opened he charged 25 cents per car and 25 cents per person, but made sure no group paid more than a dollar. Four hundred cars could fit at the theater and the screen measured 40 by 50 feet. The first film shown was Wife Beware starring Adolphe Menjou. In 1946 there were still only 300 drive-ins in the United States, but in 1949 Hollingshead’s patent was overturned, which helped hasten the rise of drive-ins across the country. Between the late 1950’s and mid 1960’s drive-ins were at their zenith. By 1957, about 6, 000 were in operation in the United States. Many of these showed B-movies, but some showed the same films that were being played in walk-in theaters. Now there are less than 500 drive-in theaters remaining in the United States. This can be attributed to factors such as rising real estate rates in suburban areas, more walk-in theaters, and an increase in video rentals and streaming services. Also, most new films must be projected digitally and it is not feasible for many small theaters to be able to afford the thousands of dollars it costs to make this switch. National Higher Education Day National Hunger Awareness Day National Eyewear Day National Gardening Exercise Day This is a day to remember the physical benefits that are gained by gardening. All muscle groups can be used while gardening, and more strenuous garden activities can even be aerobic and build muscle. Hand dexterity is improved, and this is why gardening is sometimes prescribed as therapy for people recovering from strokes. Speaking of strokes, gardening lessens the chance of their occurrence, as well as the chances of heart disease. Stress and cortisol levels are reduced by gardening, and so is dementia. Gardeners have less of a chance of being obese, and their mood is improved by their hobby. There are countless other benefits that gardening provides. National Yo-yo Day National Yo-yo Day is dedicated to everything related to yo-yos, and takes place on June 6th, because that is the birthday of Donald F. Duncan, Sr., an entrepreneur credited with bringing the Yo-yo to prominence. Variations of the yo-yo have been around since the time of Ancient Greece, where they were made out of wood, metal, and painted Terra Cotta. The word yo-yo appeared in a Filipino dictionary in the early 1860’s, and they were introduced to the United States when Pedro Flores, a Filipino immigrant, started manufacturing them at the Yo-yo Manufacturing Company in Santa Barbara, California, in 1928. By 1929, Flores had opened other factories in California, and was making 300, 000 Yo-yos daily. Shortly thereafter, Donald F. Duncan, Sr. bought out Flores and began manufacturing yo-yos. Duncan had exclusive rights to the name “Yo-yo” until 1965, when a federal court of appeals ruled that “the trademark had become part of common speech. ” Yo-yos are popular all over the world, and many countries hold yo-yo contests. The World Yo-Yo Contest is the foremost of these. A typical yo-yo contest consists of two parts, a compulsory part where certain tricks are necessary, and a freestyle part where a contestant can do a routine of their choice. Russian Language Day National Moonshine Day Moonshine—which is often also known as white lightning, hooch, mountain dew, rotgut, firewater, skullpop, and Tennessee white whiskey—is a high-proof distilled spirit that is illegally made in its truest form. It often is about 150 proof, or about 75% alcohol by volume. Although it is illegal to make moonshine at home, we celebrate it today anyway. The name "moonshine" may come from "moonrakers, " a historic term for English smugglers. "Moonshining" in Britain also meant any job that was done at night. Americans may have adopted the term because the drink was made clandestinely or by the light of the moon. Early moonshiners often made it with rye or barley, but since the nineteenth century, almost all moonshine has been made with corn. A common recipe for it is cornmeal, sugar, yeast, and water. During Prohibition, white sugar was often used in place of cornmeal. Moonshine is clear because it is not aged in oak barrels like whiskey is. Aging in barrels also mellows whiskey out, and as moonshine doesn't use this process, it has a kick to it. Bad batches of moonshine can be harmful to humans. In the past, some unsafe materials were sometimes added to it to give it a bigger kick, which also made it dangerous. Throughout history, moonshine has sometimes been made to avoid taxes, and at other times has been made to circumvent full bans on alcohol. In America, moonshine was first made in Pennsylvania and other states where grain was an important commodity. The extra grains from harvest were distilled so they wouldn't go to waste. In 1791, a tax on liquor known as a "whiskey tax" was implemented in the United States. Three years later, the Whiskey Rebellion broke out in Pennsylvania and President Washington sent in 13, 000 troops to bring order. The tax was repealed in 1801. Moonshining still continued after the Whiskey Rebellion and was common in Kentucky, Virginia, the Carolinas, and in Southern states. The alcohol is still often associated with the South today. Prohibition went into effect in 1920, which actually helped moonshiners, as there was no longer legal alcohol that could be purchased—their market greatly expanded and there was much more demand. But with the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, demand went way down and continued to do so over the years. Today moonshining is rare. Some "moonshine" is nowadays sold in stores, and follows a similar recipe as the bootleg kind, but is not illegal. Happy Celebrating.

Movie stream an american in paris youtube. Youtube, a video-sharing platform where creators can create videos for varying audiences to watch and enjoy. It is home to artists, filmmakers, animal loves, advocates, musicians, dancers, singers, storytellers, scientists, athletes, and several others of different ages. However, during the past fifteen years, we have seen changes that became less beneficial for long-time content creators and more favorable for well-established companies. Despite these changes, Youtube remains the top video-sharing website and social media platform, attracting millions of visitors and users every minute. For every person, many are fans of Michael Jackson, the legendary King of Pop. For some, the MJ fandom is broken down into tiers. The top tier is the tribute artists. They are the people that not only impersonate him but also emulate his dance and perform some of his hit songs. Only a few tribute artists have gone above and beyond to create their original music and videos. Second is the Michael Jackson impersonators. Third-tier includes mega-fans. The fourth-tier has average fans and the new generation of fans. Of course, there are Michael Jackson "stans"; fans that worship him as a demigod. They also believe he is this perfect human being. In reality, Michael was human and had made mistakes during his lifetime. Yes, he is the victim of the false allegations of child molestation in 1993, in 2003, and even in death, he is still innocent in 2019. Many soldiers of love (old and new, including myself) have been under attack for disagreeing with a stan in regards to anything related to Michael Jackson for several years. All for different opinions including but not limited to; not having the same favorite songs or albums. However, that does not measure what the MJ conspiracy theorists are currently doing to the community as a whole. The conspiracy theories about Michael these theorists put out on Youtube are messed up. First off, you got the people like Pearl Jr who hard-core believe Michael's death was a hoax with evidence to back up. You have other people who support the theory that musician B-Howard is Michael's love child. However, there is one theorist that tramples all the usual theorists you see online. One man that has gone on to claim that his theory is Michael's actual true story. One man that claims that his story makes him the only legit Michael Jackson fan that matters and thus, the only fan Michael has ever had. One man that goes as far as attacking other people for their beliefs, opinions, or debunks him. That man runs a Youtube channel called An American Scheme. You all may be wondering, who is the creator behind An American Scheme? What theory is he trying to force down as fact? Why do many people like myself ban from Youtube and have several lawsuits against him? Allow me to explain. John Odinham is the man behind this infamous Youtube channel. A forty-seven-year-old man that created his channel in August 2017 to share what he calls Michael Jackson's "true story. " The story covers the theory of Michael Jackson's legitimacy as a member of the famous Jackson family and how his story is tied to the history of Motown Records. His close friendliness to one of his old friends and fellow musician Diana Ross and much more. In other words according to John, Michael was given to the Jackson family by Diana Ross and William Smokey Robinson who are supposedly his biological parents. According to John, this story of his begins in 1957. Michael's parents, Joe and Katherine Jackson had twins Marlon and Brandon in March. Sadly, because of the complications during the premature delivery, Brandon died within twenty-four hours after he was born. In August of that year, Smokey Robinson, then seventeen at the time auditions for Brunswick Records but does not get sign to the label. However, he does meet Barry Gordy, the future founder of Motown Records and the two would strike up a friendship and partnership. They would make Motown Records and Barry was most impressed with Smokey's songwriting talent. Also, Smokey was in a committed relationship at the time. Thirteen-year-old Diana Ross had just moved back to the Detriot area. The two of them lived on the same street for several years and Diana considered Smokey her first real love. Around November or December, Diana manages to seduce Smokey with her good looks and charm. Going into 1958, Diana finds out she is pregnant and she is only a young teenager and Smokey, now eighteen was the father. According to John, the sign of her pregnancy was that she transferred to Cass Techincal High School to pursue fashion. Once the news of Diana's pregnancy gets to Barry Gordy and got whim of who the father was, he was furious. With Smokey being the father of Diana's child, he could no longer work with him, their partnership was doomed, and Motown would essentially end before it even began. Then, Barry gave him a solution. Diana would carry the baby to term but once he was born, he would be given to another family for them to raise him. That family so happened to be the Jacksons family because supposedly, Barry and Joe Jackson were old confidants with their shared passions in music and boxing, according to John. Michael is born on August 29th, 1958 and is promptly given to the Jacksons. We pretty much know what happens next. Motown is officially founded in January 1959, Smokey forms his group called the Miracles, and Diana joins the Primettes later known as the Supremes. Michael and older brother Marlon would join their older brothers, Jackie, Tito, and Jermaine then called the Jackson Brother in 1964 now called The Jackson 5 and then The Jacksons from the mid-1970s onward while as having a tough upbringing at the hands of Joe Jackson. The brothers are signed to Motown after several talent shows, small gigs at strip clubs, and an audition tape was sent in 1968 where it was view by not just Barry Gordy himself, but also Diana Ross and Smokey Robinson. We all know the success of the Jacksons, they produced four number 1 singles including "I Want You Back" and "I'll Be There", and Michael's cute and innocent persona and raw talent made the Jackson family a household name. The brothers would stay with Diana in her home in LA for the early years of their music career and Michael got to spend some time with her alone, he had a schoolboy crush on her (and who wouldn't). Around 1970, Diana drops the bombshell of Michael's parentage, she is his real mom and Michael is her first child, but then again, Michael is a Jackson now. The world and life Michael knew up to this point was a lie. The family he was raised in was not his real family. His real parents had, according to John, orphan Michael to the mercy of the Jackson family and to Barry Gordy. Now, Michael had to commit to living a fantasy for his personal life. He became afraid of being intimate with a woman, thus his marriages being a sham and his two eldest children were products of sperm donors; Macaulay Culkin, the star of Home Alone, the biological father of Michael's second child and only daughter. This was why Michael associated himself with Peter Pan and Neverland. This was why Michael made several mistakes in his lifetime. This was the real reason why Michael was innocent of the allegations. Newsflash, the story is nothing more than a theory. I included the so-called "true story" that John presents in less than 20% of his content is just a well put together theory. John claims to have discovered this story while watching "Lady Sings the Blues", Diana Ross' first film she ever starred. The so-called evidence that supports his story is insufficient. Interviews and films he uses, and just Michael's physical appearance compared to Diana and Smokey and the physical appearances of the Jackson family does not support the story. The supposed subliminal messages in Michael top songs as an adult that John likes to point out that all connect to his story and to Motown's history as they are all about Diana Ross and Smokey Robinson, especially with the song "Billie Jean" has no connection. Especially with the hit off of Thriller, Michael explained the meaning behind the song and the history as it was about a stalker who was claiming he was the father of her child. Plus, the big elephant in the room is no DNA evidence is presented. Within the six months since I found this channel, I know this channel must be shut down by Youtube. John and his small group of supporters are delusional. John believes he is above DNA and is the one the matters in this world and the MJ community are the same as the MJ guilty cult. I notice in many of the videos he makes about Michael Jackson fans, he keeps claiming that we are all fake fans, frauds, thieves, losers, slaves, etc. for not believing him. He has made racist and homophobic comments towards tribute artists like Michael Trapson, manipulated video clips by content creators to fit his agenda and argument that we are trying to make money of off Michael, cyberstalking other creators like JD, creator of HIStory in the Mix, Ashley Ann, Danielle Pozzini aka Dani MJJ, Danny Wu, creator of the Square One MJ documentary, Kirsta MJ, MJFANGIRL TV, Jackson passion(her real name is Mary), etc., has claimsed that MATTSFTR is no advocate of Michael's despite Matt being on Youtube since its beginnings and still continues to support him, and Razorfist, another MJ advocate and creator of the MJ rebuttal series is a crack head. He has also targeted young MJ fans like Nicholas Stohler, Jacob Wells, JaylenYTGaming, Lane aka The Smooth Criminal, Chelsea Taylor Jackson, Theresa Loves Michael Jackson and Harry Styles, Moonwalker Forever, and Ashley Off The Wall. Jaylen and Moonwalker Forever were the ones that first brought John and his channel An American Scheme to everyone's attention, then Lane made a rant about him, then another MJ fan, Konrad, made several videos exposing John as the fake MJ fan, and Matt making video responses to John, basically debunking him in the process. Although some MJ fans had made their truce with John, some have not. John has also attacked me in the comments of his video that was supposedly exposing Trapson as a fraud calling me the same things he always does (when in reality he is all these things), attacked me again in the comments of Konrad's video exposing him because I made a comment about him having other social media platforms, and most recently, replied to my reply of a comment on Matt's most recent video about him asking me if I lived in a trailer with mold in it (the second one, Konrad deleted the video in question, and the third John deleted all his comments on Matt's video). John has also committed other community guideline violations including on video where he talked about a vision he had of Ashley Ann dying in a fire and also crushing on young female MJ fans like Kirsta and Chelsea. He has even committed cyber sexual harassment in the comments and has also made an insensitive video about another young female MJ fan's family. As for the Jackson family, John has also made horrid comments about them, calling them untalented and claiming Michael ha the real talent, his sister Janet is nothing more than an impersonator (which she's not), called Michael's niece and nephew frauds, and worse, he has called Michael's eldest son, Prince a spoiled brat, Michael's daughter Paris a drug addict, and Bigi, Michael's youngest son and child, mentally challenged. Not to mention that he has trolled on their Youtube channel, Film Family promoting his non-sensical story while also making inappropriate comments. John has also poked at Pearl Jr, the woman who believes Michael's still alive. He even assumes MJ fans that move to different channels are "fake like he's been telling everyone all along", most recently was when Danielle announced she was moving channels to do other content other than Michael Jackson, the Beatles, Queen, etc. and John claimed she has been fake all along (all because she did not look at his story). In reality, I have watched her video and she states she is still a Michael Jackson fan, she just wants to do other content and there's no problem with that. For me, I do not even blame them for not engaging with John and his channel. This is not because they do not want to talk to him like John likes to believe and blocks him and thinks everyone is attacking him first (it's the other way around). It is because they 1. ) Know he is a horrible person 2. ) Know about the bullying, threating, and borderline psychotic he posts 3. ) They do not agree with his story What is even worse is that John has proven himself to not be a Michael Jackson fan at all besides his claims of being the only MJ fan on the planet for over 40 years and is the only true fan at that. He has made videos calling MJ wacko and a pedo while in others, he's defending him and believes that all MJ fans are just on the bandwagon. Even some of his supporters target us, especially the generation z MJ fans because some of us including myself became MJ fans after his death and questioning us of where were we when Michael was still alive. I made this clear, I wasn't a spark in my mother's eye in 1993, and I was finishing up first grade in 2005 during the trial era thus I was too young at the time. MATTSFTR has been advocating for Michael since Youtube was founded, being the first MJ advocate to do so. It is unfortunate the John and his channel are still on Youtube and I am still shocked that Youtube has done nothing to take his channel down and given him a lifetime ban. I am still shocked that Michael's family the Jacksons, Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Barry Gordy, and some of Michael's friends that are still sticking by him to this day have not spoken about John nor the defamation videos he makes. For me, he should have stuck to sports gambling only to help take care of his ailing father (the latter being the only thing I respect him for). I do respect his passion for his story too but that is no excuse to make hurtful videos about everyone in and out of the MJ community because simply, we do not agree with him. Many of his rant videos he mostly does not make sense at all. It is quite a shame that his channel is still up and still active. Also YouTube is part of the blame for their blocking system. John is still able to access the channels and videos of the people he attacks despite many of them blocking him because according to YouTube, when you block someone they cannot comment on your videos nor send you private messages. One person made a video about how YouTube's blocking system should be similar to Facebook's where once you block someone, they can no longer see your page or anything you post aside from commenting and private messaging. The younger MJ fans have threaten legal action against John for putting their videos of them debunking him into his videos where he always twists them and blows them out of proportion. Pearl Jr only gave him one copyright strike, another person reported the first video he did on MATTSFTR and as a result, gave John a community guidelines strike for harassment and bullying. As of this writing, both strikes have expired. For all the video and movie clips he uses in his videos as well as stealing portions of videos and live streams MJ fans and content creators have made just to twist their words to fit his narrative on top of the other community guidelines violations he has committed that YouTube fails to notice, that is not fair use at all. I feel that YouTube is treating John with high regards similar to Logan Paul after his infamous scandal. Most likely, John is paying YouTube to not take down his channel (since he makes money while being a sports gambler). His supporters are no good either. They support his story for one thing. Two is that they are people that do not have any videos on their channels yet relay information to John in the comments of his videos, information and evidence that "supports" John's story. One person even talks like John in the comments. Although there are supporters of his that do not agree with everything John says, it's these people like Alan Kozak and James L (two of John's top supporters) that agree with him, worshiping him like God himself. Michael did not spread the word of hate. He spread honesty, truth, love, and compassion to everyone. Through his music, his humanitarianism, his innocent, and his bravery to all of us fans and even non fans most recently. Unfortunately, John is destroying it. For me, first thing is YouTube needs to terminate his channel for all the violations mentioned and ban him for a lifetime. Once the ban and termination is complete, that will give the MJ fans and content creators including myself to speak out about him publicly about his trolling and hatefulness and two faced persona in the comments of his videos and in the videos themselves of they wish. Next is the defamation suit from the content creators, most notable would be Trapson, Danny Wu, and Razorfist (once he reacts to John's behavior and debunks him) on behave of everyone. At this point, all this will trend on social media and starts to make the headlines. John's story and the defamation suits against him. Then there is the DNA testing from Diana Ross and Smokey Robinson to compare their samples to Michael's DNA and his DNA to his siblings and that of Joe and Katherine (his real parents). Either proven or disproven, the Jacksons (including Michael's children), Ross', Robinson's, the estate, and everyone that was close to Michael will sue John for defamation and copyright. Whether or not his story is officially proven or disproved by DNA, he claims that his lifes work is done (out in the open or slammed the shut). Before I conclude this, what are all of your thoughts on An American Scheme its creator John? Has he trolled your channels promoting his story and called you filthy names and made nasty comments? Let me know in the comments.
